Secretary and Treasurer : L.H. PEARMAINE, 16 King Street. Plaistow, E.13 DECEMBER 19 Dear Sir, The Management Committee of the above Fund, have much pleasure in submitting its Annual Appeal to all past and present subscribers, with the hope that once again their magnificent response will contribute to the success of the Fund. The object of the Fund is to supply our Local Blind with Xmas Fare and thus enable these deserving folk to spend a bright and happy Yuletide, amidst real good Christmas surroundings. Last year good fortune enable us to provide this cheer and our friends the Local Blind, desire to extend their best wishes of appreciation to all their supporters for past assistance in this respect. All work in connection with the Fund is entirely voluntary, it has the valuable support of local Members of Parliament, Public notaries and a host of other good people too numerous to mention and I sincerely hope that you will give this seasonable appeal your earnest consideration. Should you so desire, a representative of the Fund will be very pleased to interview you by appointment. Kindly remit your donation to the Secretary. On behalf of my Committee I have much pleasure in submitting for your information a copy of Balance Sheet for 1928 and you will see that our effort met with considerable local support, Thanking you for past assistance and trusting you will help us in this good work.
