The term "dependant" applies to the following persons who are resident with and maintained by the subscriber :— Wife } Husband } under 60 years of age Adult Relative } Son } Daughter } under 18 years of age Child Relative } In order to meet the demands of those who wish to obtain higher rates of benefit, applications will be entertained to pay double the normal rate of subscription, which entitles the subscriber to double the benefit rates. FORESIGHT When you need the services of a hospital and its medical staff it is a great comfort to know that you are able to avail yourself of the necessary treatment without having to become partly or even wholly dependent on the charitable subscriptions of others. Those who have the foresight to invest in the Hospital Service Plan will be assured of a substantial grant which will not only enable them to achieve this independence but will make it possible for them to have comforts and accommodation which might otherwise be beyond their reach. 6
