WALL (London Trades Council) 25th February 1938. Mr. H.B. Morgan, Transport House,. Dear Mr. Morgan, Sir Stafford Cripps some time ago asked us to draw up a Memorandum on help for Spain for submission to the Spain Campaign Committee. We now send it to you with his recommendation that it justifies the time involved in reading it. To make doubly sure, however, that we could ask you to give the time in reading so long a document we have submitted copies to the Spanish Authorities. The opinion on it of (a) the Counsellor to the Embassy, (who writes that he signs in place of the Ambassador), (b) the former Chairman of the Spanish National Food Commission, (now Agricultural Attaché), and (c) the Commercial Attaché are attached to the letter. Yours truly, Geoffrey Pyke Hon. Secretary.
