February, 1938 Sir Walter Citrine, T.U.C. Transport House, Smith Square, LONDON, (England) Dear sir, We take the liberty to write to you in solicitation of a mailing list of your Trade Movemet's newspapers, in order to send to them a copy of our "Bulletin of Information", a copy of which we have posted to you under a separate cover. We feel assured that English labour papers will be glad to get first hand information as to what is going on in our unfortunate country. We feel certain that our English comrades will appreciate to know all about the efforts of our labour organizations to build up industries in order to put into sound bases our national economy, while the best of our militancies fight bravely in the front lines. As you know, Mr. Citrine, we are carrying on an epic fight to ensure the rights of our people for a better life, to safeguard democratic principles so dear for our free development. And in doing so, we feel conscious of the services we render to other democratic countries which are continuously menaced by the dark forces of reaction. Hoping to hear from you, we take pleasure to convey to the English labour movement - through you - our fraternal wishes and our undying faith in Victory, By the INFORMATION BUREAU Martin Gudell
