Coinciding with you return I learn that all Spaniards who were arrested in the unoccupied France after the demand of extradition by Franco are now free again except one - Francisco Largo Caballero. I am very anxious about the fate of this friend. Of course I understand the difficult position of the British Government at present to intervene with the Government of Vichy in favour of Largo Caballero. But a hint from the United States would be, I think,
