Referring to your telegram of November 18th last I am pleased to say that information has now come to hand that our old colleague Largo Caballero and the other Republican leaders have not been extradited as was reported, and that the probability is that they will not be handed over to the Spanish Government. The matter, however, is being carefully watched and the necessary action will be taken should the Germans decide on extradition. Yours sincerely, General Secretary.
