EXTRACT FROM INTERNATIONAL MINUTES 25 APRIL 1939. 48 (b) Meeting of International Trade Secretariats. It was reported that a meeting of International Trade Secretariats had been held on the 11th April, 1939. At this meeting it had been agreed that an IFTU/ITS Committee for Spanish refugees should be formed. The latter Committee had appealed to National Centres and Trade Secretariats for clothing, and the General Secretary reported that he was taking measures to obtain supplies. The Committee EXPRESSED THEIR APPROVAL of his action.
