Letter F.I. de Sol No. 1024 13th November 1937, Mr. Walter M. Citrine LONDON. Dear Comrade Citrine, For the purpose of our statement, we require at once full information about the money collected up till now for Spain, and we should therefore be glad if you would let us have as soon as possible figures for: (1) the amounts transmitted to the International Solidarity Fund; (2) the amounts expended in your own country for the purchase and despatch of goods to Spain (we should like to have the figures in as exact a form as possible and with an estimate of their present-day value); (3) the money utilised in providing accommodation for Spanish refugees (evacuated women and children). We should be much obliged if you would let us have this information as early as possible. Yours sincerely, W. Schevenels, General Secretary
