Referring to your letter of the 21st instant I should like to say how greatly we appreciate the assistance you've rendered in enabling us to forward a case of foodstuffs delivered to this office by a "private person" with the consignment which you are shipping in the s.s.PELAYO. I believe the quantity is two quarters and not two cwts. Mr. Newman will already have informed you of the contents of the case which has been collected by a lorry this morning (not Sunday as mentioned in your letter).
