Letter: F. I. de Sol No. 297 18th February, 1939. Mr. H.V. Tewson, Transport House, Smith Square, London, S.W.1. Dear Comrade Tewson, Food for Valencia. I am glad to be able to inform you that we have ordered for 68,280 francs (£390), 30 tons of haricot beans, which will be sent next Tuesday or Wednesday from Marseilles to Valencia. In accordance with your letter of the 10th February, we shall be glad to receive from Mr. Pole the value of £380 or £390 (the difference of £10 does not matter and will be added from our own funds if necessary), to our account in the C.W.S. Bank (M.I.18.D). We will, of course, take into account, that seven days notice is required before the transfer can be effected. Yours sincerely, W. Schevenels, General Secretary. 292/946/32/95
