I am in receipt of your letter of 6th May and am very glad to know that the Surgical Branch of the Amalgamated Engineering Union are agreeable to help you in your good work on behalf of the workers in Spain. I am pleased also to note that there are one or two firms who will be willing to give their assistance in this matter. I hope to be able to write to you in a day or two when I have received the replies from a couple of societies which are putting the matter before their Executives.
