Dear Mr. Webb, NATIONAL MEMORIAL FUND FOR BRITISH VOLUNTEERS IN SPAIN. Referring to your letter of the 1st instant, no grant has been made from the International Solidarity Fund to the Memorial Fund for British Volunteers in Spain. I am not in a position at the moment to say whether such a grant will be made in the future. The situation at present is that we have asked for certain particulars in regard to the work of the Committee and, whilst we have received a reply, the information desired is not yet complete. When we are in a position to submit full information on the points raised the question of a grant will be carefully considered. Yours sincerely, Assistant Secretary.
