The opening sequence of this short film shows what looks like a graffiti drawn on the gray surface of the wall - the juicy-green of cactuses, cider trees, lawns and medows. Suddenly, a newtof cracks starts running all across the picture causing it to shatter and collapse. Through the sprayed-on images of trees, real trees are growing making their way through the concrete. Finally, through the crack in the wall we see that much of the structure still remains unshattered, reaching up to the horizon amidst the splashing green of cactuses, cider trees, lawns and medows of Israel-Palestine. |
