In a war, whenever there is a serious risk of a nuclear strike, the civil defense forces take up their appointed positions and stand by for mobilization. Under these circumstances a special security unit protects to movements of advancing troops on their way to their destinations. The film shows the various ways of checking technical equipment and vehicles, as well as the manner in which such units must prepare themselves to carry out their orders under difficult conditions.
