Three days after rehearsals started NATO began the attacks against Yugoslavian military targets. The film follows the evolution of the play “Brokenville” by Philp Ridley and its Kosovar actors, but also explores the lives of the Kosovar refugees in the London suburbs while they are dealing with social inclusion and exclusion problems, being homesick and worrying for the relatives left behind. |
