| Summary: | As the manuscripts which remained among his papers demonstrate, András Hegedűs nursed a powerful ambition to describe the stories and events of his life in literary form. The series includes many such attempts: drafts and manuscripts; none of which, however, ever reached a stage where they were ready for printing. Besides these, somewhat surprisingly, Hegedűs also wrote hundreds of pages of science-fiction, most probably in the period when the genre made its first, faltering appearance in Hungarian literature.

Hegedűs Andrást - hagyatékából láthatóan - szinte egész életében végigkísérte az az óhaj, hogy életét, a vele történteket valamely más formába öntve, szépirodalomként is megírja. Ez a sorozat igen sok nagy terjedelmű kísérletet őriz, melyek töredékesek maradtak. Igazi meglepetés, hogy Hegedűs András több száz oldalnyi science-fictiont is írt, valószínűleg akkor, amikor ez a műfaj Magyarországon az első tétova lépéseit tette.
