Summary: | Daily life of an ordinary family in communist Romania. When parents decide to take 'building communism' seriously, they have little time for the family and children. Eva is the daughter of a devoted communist who formerly, before the overthrow of the 'bourgeois-capitalist' regime, lived underground. When she decides to leave her father, the family tries once again to combine family life with the making of the "communist world". Yet the communication gap between father and daughter points to a broader rift between the two worlds. |
