Summary:Recording of the CEU’s 11th Graduation Ceremony on June 20, 2002. The ceremony starts with the academic procession and the introductory words of the CEU Pro-Rector Stefan Messmann, also the Master of the Ceremonies. Yehuda Elkana, President and Rector of CEU, offers the opening speech and he is followed shortly by the Alumnae Speaker (Master of Law Degree in Comparative Constitutional Law, class of 1999) and the Student Speaker (MA Candidate in Environment Sciences Department, class of 2002). Violinist Emese Kapcsos who plays Johann S. Bach, “Allemande in D minor” provides the musical interlude and thus closes the first part of the ceremony.
