This film follows the route by train and selects 10 key moments from the book to accompany each month of the journey. The extracts chosen describe a gradual awakening and renewal that Primo Levi felt took place along side a growing awareness of the abundance of life about him. The readings are provided by residents of Turin who also reflect upon the arbitrary nature of selections as well as survival. |
