Description
Summary:Donation from OSI-Budapest Arts and Culture Program. Duration: 01:01:00 There are thirty-five thousand Swiss Gypsies, called the Yenish. Only a very small fraction of them live a nomadic life today. The film is to recall the story of Yenish kids being forcebly removed from their families and introduced into state reeducation programs called "integration programs", a fact that became known only in the 1970s. More than six hundred Yenish children ended up in orphanages. Their personal stories are told as testimonies by those who lived through the events.
