Description
Summary:001-0134-001 Pontypridd Trades Council & Labour Party Secretary- S. DAVIES 43 LEYSHON STREET PONTYPRIDD January 5th, 1944. Sir Walter Citrine, General secretary, T.U.C. Transport House, Smith Square, London, S.W.1. Dear sir, I am instructed by the delegates of the above Trades Council to state that they view with alarm the statement in the press regarding the sensational letter which Gil Robles, Spanish Conservative leader sent to Franco's War Minister, in which he lists the actual material aid given by Franco to Germany. Such actions as those taken by this enemy of democracy, cannot be left unchallenged, and we are of the opinion that the T.U.C. should make strong repesentatlon to the appropriate quarter regarding this. Yours faithfully Sam Davies Secretary. 292/946/1/134
