Letter from World University Service to UN provides update on status of the approximately 2,500 refugee Hungarian students in Austria, the majority of whom have been registered and accommodated in facilities in either Vienna or Graz. The letter also summarizes news regarding fundraising, scholarship and resettlement offers from other countries including Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gold Coast, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Korea, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Union of South Africa, Uganda and US. The influx of refugees into Austria has caused WUS to change approach in order to expedite the process of resettlement in other countries.
