The recorded IST programs show a great variety: from hourly news blocks through political commentaries and roundtable discussions on the ongoing war to musical-patriotic propaganda clips. On Fridays lengthy religious programs were broadcast. The leader of the country, Saddam Hussein was also shown on various occasions. Of special interest are the English language press conferences held by the Iraqi Information Minister. |
