(A) Nourishment Milk, or other forms of nourishment, and dinners (with a carefully arranged menu) should be provided, on the certificate of the Medical Officer of the Ante-Natal Clinic. 36. (B) Pre-natal hospital treatment Beds must be provided for women requiring observation or treatment in hospital during pregnancy. 37. (C) Convalescent homes Convalescent homes should be provided to which women could go before or after the birth of a child. All such homes should be well-staffed and under medical supervision. 38. (D) Home helps Domestic help should be provided for all women not able to arrange for it otherwise. This should ensure their being relieved of all domestic work while the doctor or midwife is in attendance, and of domestic laundry work for at least four weeks after such attendance has ceased. 39. (E) Dental treatment and dentures Dental treatment and dentures should be provided. 292/824/1/115
