Description
Summary:042-0072-001 WMC/WJB/MS/280 International 1st February, 1938. Mr. L. Witt, "Upwey", Hatley Road, Bitterne, Southampton. Dear Mr. Witt, Ray Cox Memorlal. With reference to your letter of the 31st January we regret very much to say that we have not yet received the photograph of the apparatus that was purchased for the Ray Cox Memorial. We may say that we mentioned this matter personally to Mr. Schevenels a short time ago. He is very much concerned about the delay and is doing all he can to secure the promised photograph from our Spanish comrades to whom he is writing again and again. We are sending another reminder to him and are asking him if he has yet had any news from them. Yours faithfully, General Secretary. 292/946/42/72
