Description
Summary:042-0126-001 WMC/WJB/AC/934 International 3rd August, 1937. Mr. L. Witt, The Joint Council of the Southampton Trades Council, Labour Party and Co-operative Society, Prospect House, 160, Above Bar, SOUTHAMPTON. Dear Mr. Witt, RAY COX MEMORIAL In reply to your letter of 31st ultimo, we have been waiting to hear from Mr. Schevenels, the Secretary of the I.F.T.U., about the photograph which he promised to send to us of the anaesthetic apparatus that was purchased for the Ray Cox Memorial. It is some time now since Mr. Schevenels was able to get to Spain, as he has had to attend weeks of meetings at Geneva and Warsaw. We believe that he is now on his way to Spain again, and no doubt he will bring back the photograph with him. We will not fail to ask him for a copy for you as soon as he returns. Yours faithfully, General Secretary. 292/946/42/126
