INTERNATIONAL. HVT/EAB. 15th August 1939. The Under-Secretary of State, Home Office, Aliens' Department, Cleland House, Page Street, S.W. 1. Dear Sir, NORA CARRILLO: ROBERTO CARRILLO. I wrote to you on the 12th May last enquiring as to the possibility of your granting permission to Nora Carrillo and Roberto Carrillo, two young Spanish refugees now at Oran, to come to this country to join their father, Wencaslao Carrillo. For your information I am enclosing copy of our letter. As I have not received any acknowledgment, I shall be glad if you will let me know whether it has been received by you. In view of the fact that the conditions under which the children are living at Oran are becoming more difficult every day, I would be very grateful if consideration of their case could be expedited. For your information, since writing to you in May last Mr. Wencaslao Carrillo, the father of the Children, has changed his address and is now living at 7, Orme Court, W. 2. Thanking you in anticipation, Yours sincerely, Assistant Secretary.
