Minute of Finance and General Purposes Committee, 24th April, 1939. 113. INTERNATIONAL BRIGADE NATIONAL MEMORIAL FUND - APPEAL FOR ASSISTANCE. A letter, dated 20th April, was read from the above body appealing to the General Council to grant to the Memorial Fund a donation from the International Solidarity Fund or, alternatively, if that were not possible, to propose to the Committee administering the Fund that they should assist in a manner they themselves thought fit. IT WAS DECIDED that a suitable reply should be sent.
