description Margarit and Margarita are about to graduate from high-school. Being proud and independent, they often conflict with their parents and teachers. At some point they decide to leave the school and their homes for the sake of being free. Gradually, they encounter the adults’ world of demagogy, brutality, and corruption. Margarit is unwilling to make compromises, while Margarita consideres them to be the way of securing their future. When Nerisanov, an influential person and a big womanizer, seeks to become Margarita's “benefactor”, Margarit is enraged by his personality and eventually kills him. He is sentenced and imprisoned, and he shoots himself with his guard’s gun. Margarita is unable to live through this and commits suicide. Released in 1989, shortly after November 10, 1989 when Todor Zhivkov, the head of the party and the state, lost his power.
