| Summary: | This movie is part of the "Margelatu" series in which Margelatu (action hero of dubious past) is pursuing, alongside his trustful companion Buza de Iepure, various missions helping the cause of the Romanian revolutionaries. This is the typical action movie with a nationalist thematic, in this case located in the general context of national "awakeing" in the Romanian Principalities during mid-19th century. Margelatu searches for an envoyee of the Habsburgh monarchy, who was kidnapped by a a group of influential people (presented as agents of foreign financial powers and enemis of the "national cause"), who are trying to throw the guilt on the shoulder of "Fratia," a revolutionary nationalist organization. The main twist of the movie is that Agatha (one of the main negative characters) turns out to be Buza de Iepure's mother, thus putting him to conflict with his friend Margelatu. |
