Description
Summary:Verzio FF submission Haj-Abbas built a house with two similar wings for his two wives, bought them the same presents and tried to live in harmony with both of them. After his death, the two old, childless widows remain to live together in the same house. Their everyday lives reveal a strange relationship, and a lifetime of rivalry and conflict has given way to some affection. Their subtle gestures and behaviors toward each other provide a glimpse into what their lives together must have been like for all those years. Beyond the humorous and sometimes ridiculous moments, at the heart of the film is the story of two women who had to find a way to co-exist, and now, facing old age, illness and death, they discover they only have each other for comfort.
