Description
Summary:Hegedűs did not preserve his correspondence in an organized way. He selected only a few of his letters to be kept separately. The archives followed this principle and treated only a small part of his correspondence as being important enough to be filed separately. Most of the letters of this series date from the most critical period of his life in Moscow, 1956-1958. This was the time when he wrote letters to Khruschev, Rákosi, Gerő, to the Central Committee of newly established MSZMP and to the Soviet Communist Party. In addition, the protest letter against the 1968 Czechoslovak intervention that he addressed to the Politburo of MSZMP is of outstanding importance. In Hungarian: Hegedűs saját maga "ömlesztve" tárolta hatalmas levelezését, melyből csak igen keveset tartott arra érdemesnek, hogy a halmaztól külön, egyedileg őrizze meg. Ehhez az elvhez alkalmazkodva a levéltár is csak néhány, feltehetően a legfontosabb leveleket kezeli egyedileg. Ebben a sorozatban az 1956-1958 közötti moszkvai periódusban keletkezett levelek dominálnak, melyeket Hruscsovhoz, Rákosihoz, Gerőhöz, az újonnan alakult MSZMP-nek, vagy a Szovjetunió Kommunista Pártjának Központi Bizottságához írt. Kiemelkedő fontosságú az a levél, melyet az MSZMP vezetőségének írt tiltakozásul az 1968-as csehszlovákiai beavatkozás miatt. Accruals not expected
