Description
Summary:"This report reviews the present situation concerning the relevance and implementation of flexicurity in European Union Member States. First, the report presents a brief introduction of recent developments on the issue of flexicurity at EU level, followed by a review of policies at national level. The study then focuses on the contribution of social dialogue and collective bargaining to the different approaches to flexicurity at national level and on the positions of the social partners. Moreover, the report aims to investigate whether the introduction of the concept of flexicurity at national level has had any impact on the attitudes of the social partners as regards labour regulation and, more generally, on industrial relations."
