Summary:1908 1908 1900s 18 pages WE, the Members of this Society, having duly considered the various changes and misfortunes of life, together with the many diseases man's mortal frame is incident to in all its stages, do hereby agree to meet together in a soberly and orderly manner, to contribute and relieve each other's afflictions in the manner described in these Rules. Declaration. SIR,— This Society admits you as one of its Members on condition that you abide by, and conform to, the Rules and Regulations laid down in the book presented to you for that purpose, or any other regulations that may, from time to time, be made for the well-being of the Society ; you must declare that you are not under the age of 18, nor above the age of 35 years ; that you are not labouring under any periodical complaint, either bodily or mentally ; and that your wife is in good bodily health. Should it at any time be found that you have in any way imposed on the Society, or made any false statement for the purpose of gaining admission, you will be excluded and forfeit all claim to the stock and burial funds of this Society. 345/7/2/2
