DEPUTATION MINISTRY OF HEALTH April 20th, 1921. A deputation from the Medical Council of the People's League of Health was invited by Dr. Addison to meet the Chief Medical Officer of the Ministry of Health, Sir George Newman, to discuss in what way the People's League of Health could best help the Ministry of Health. Prof. KENWOOD, C.M.G., F.R.S.E., D.P.H. ARTHUR LATHAM, F.R.C.P. Mr. EWEN J. MACLEAN, M.D., M.R.C.P. Col. LYLE CUMMINS, C.B., C.M.G., LL.D., M.D. Prof. Sir GERMAN S. WOODHEAD. The Hon. Organiser was admitted to the Conference at the special request of the Medical Councillors of the League. Sir George Newman showed great interest and sympathy in the work of the League, and asked if there were any objections to the League co-operating with the British Red Cross Society. Sir George was informed there was no objection. The League wishes to do propaganda work to educate public opinion on health matters, and to work in close co-operation with the Ministry of Health. A letter was later received from Sir George, saying that he would be pleased to receive two or three accredited representatives of the 17 200/B/3/2/C693/1/71
