BENEFITS FOR GUILD MEMBERS. Probationer Nurse (Female.) Entrance fee, 6d. Contributions. Scale A, for protection only, 1/1 per month. Scale B, for protection plus either of the following benefits, 2/2 per month. (i) Examination grants, 10/6 after the completion of 12 months' membership, with a further payment of 30/- or 45/- after completion of 3 or 4 years' membership, as the terms of the probationership may demand. Or, (ii) In lieu of (i) a cover for a funeral benefit upon completion of 12 months' membership, limited to members of 50 years of age and under at the time of entry. (Benefit. £10 after 12 months' membership, rising by £4 for each subsequent completed year to a maximum of £30.) Probationer Nurse (Male). Entrance fee, 6d. Contributions, as Scale B above (2/2 per month), with alternative benefits as detailed (i) and (ii) above, or 1/1 without Benefits. Trained Nurses (Male and Female) and Midwives. Entrance fee, 1 /-. Contributions, 2/2 per month, with cither of the following benefits. (i) A cover for a funeral benefit as (ii) above. Or (ii) In lieu of (i) a withdrawal benefit at the rate of 13/- for each completed year of membership, payable in a lump sum on leaving the Service, on marriage, or retirement. EACH MEMBER CAN BE HELPED by the following schemes operating :— House purchase or investment through the Whitehall Building Society. Trading, through the trading schemes of which particulars can be given on request. Insurance, special facilities for Life, Motor, Burglary, etc. Library through special facilities arranged with Messrs. Boots. Education Grants. Benevolent Fund.
