Dear Sir Walter, Miss Jacobsen, Commandant of the above Unit, has been home for a few days and leaves tomorrow for Madrid via London. She has a number of official visits to pay before crossing the Channel on Sunday morning but I am particularly anxious that she should have a chat with you as some of the old lying rumours are again floating about and may have reached you. She will be pleased to answer any questions and you may rely upon her perfect good faith. I hope you will be able to give her an appointment on Friday or Saturday before 12 or after 3. She will ring you up on Friday morning if you will kindly ask one of your staff to tell the Hall Porter at The Grosvenor Hotel (Victoria) at what hour it will be most convenient for you to be at the telephone.
