NOTE ON THE BASQUE CHILDREN In co-operation with the Foreign Office, the Basque Children's Committee has agreed to restore to Spain in the course of the next few weeks, every child who can possibly return. Even after repatriation, however, we shall be left with the following categories of children for whom return to Spain is impossible, either because it might mean permanent separation from their parents, or because their parents are in prison:- 1.
