Nov. 12th, in the Friends House, Euston Road, N.W.1. The Conference, which has been called by 13 national organisations, has the two fold objective of awakening public opinion to the dangers to Spain and to ourselves in the present situation, and of extending relief work for Spain in this country. The speakers at the Conference will include the Duchess of Atholl, Miss Diana Forbes-Robertson, the Dean of Chichester, Mr. Wilfrid Roberts, M.P., and we have been fortunate in securing Captain Liddell Hart and Mme. Genevieve Tabouis, who will give authoritative reports on the political and strategic situation. There will be a Public meeting on Sunday evening in the Holborn Empire, and we should be glad if you can attend this also. Knowing your interest in the Spanish question, we feel sure that you will be in sympathy with the objects of the Conference, and we hope that you will be able to accept this invitation. Yours sincerely, Margaret Stewart Secretary. 292/946/17a/17
