December 7 Sir Robert Vansittart asks Sir Walter Citrine to call to discuss with him the question arising from this information (sent to him on 30 November). I.T.F. unable to ascertain dates of shipments notified on 27 November, but send another report of a shipment of anti-aircraft guns, tanks, ammunition and volunteers from Stettin, stating that 22 vessels in all have left for Spain with similar cargoes. 1937 April 29 from I.T.F. Report of three Spanish ships under German flag, operating between Germany and Spanish rebel ports with munitions and war material for past six months, and purchase of two ships in Antwerp for same trade. This material was likewise sent to Sir Robert Vansittart. May 4 Report from I.T.F. of trade by German ships in war materials from Antwerp. May 14 Report from I.T.F. that s.s. "Colon" sailing under flag of Panama, will sail on 14th for Seville with war material and soldiers. This information sent to Sir Robert Vansittart. July 7 Report from I.T.F. of organisation in rebel Spain of munition depot at Seville, German reinforcement column, tanks and tankers (oil), quay for discharge of war material only, Italian reinforcement column, naval force, and ore pier at Melilla in Spanish Morocco. Also report on preparation of German mercantile marine for war. July 31 Report from I.T.F. about raids at Seville, and the lay-out of the forces and stores at Seville, and shipping (including captured Russian vessel) at Pasajes. September 4 Report from I.T.F. of departure from Bremen (having sailed from Antwerp) of m.s. "Burgenland", laden with armoured cars or tanks. September 15 Report from I.T.F. of sailing from Hamburg of ship laden with war materials probably sailing under Panama flag, October 20 Report from I.T.F. of bad material used in manufacture of guns and aeroplanes, causing bursting and crashing, during manoeuvres at Sigmaringen. 1938. February 22 Report from I.T.F. of activities of German submarines in the Mediterranean. Dates and positions are given, and names of submarines and supply ships. 292/946/23/1
