Secretary's 24th May, 1937. PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL Sir Robert Vansittart, G.C.N.G., K.C.B., M.V.O, Permanent Under Secretary of State, Foreign Office, Downing Street, LONDON, S.W.1. Dear Sir Robert, SPAIN. I am enclosing an additional report concerning insurgent ports, dated 4th May, 1937, which I have received from the same source as before. I am also informed that the S.S. Colon, of 6,000 tons, was sailing under the flag of Panama on the 14th May from that port for Seville, and probably other rebel ports, after having loaded war material at No. 26 Shed (Woermann) in the port of Hamburg. I am further informed that the ship will also carry soldiers. Yours sincerely, General Secretary. Copy of Report.
