September 14 Foreign Office also asked to take up case of Roberto Vega Gonzalez, in a similar position. September 15 HALIFAX promises to bring J.R. Vega's case to the notice of the British Ambassador, although there are difficulties in the Ambassador's way. Information sent to Lamoneda. September 28 Cheque for £30 sent to Lord HALIFAX, with request that money be transmitted to Pascual Tomas's family in Spain, as arranged in letter of 26 August October 7 HALIFAX reports that Exchange Control Régulations make consultation with Treasury necessary for the transmission of the money. 292/946/27/1
