Vega's case to the notice of the British Ambassador, although there are difficulties in the Ambassador's way. Information sent to Lamoneda. September 28 Cheque for £30 sent to Lord HALIFAX, with request that money be transmitted to Pascual Tomas's family in Spain, as arranged in letter of 26 August October 7 HALIFAX reports that Exchange Control Régulations make consultation with Treasury necessary for the transmission of the money.
