Dear Sirs, Foodstuffs for Spain. We have received your letter of the 6th instant reference HVT/FC/EK/398 and wish to confirm that we have definitely arranged shipment of one ton ship's Biscuits by s.s. DELLWYN closing in Liverpool tomorrow for Barcelona. In regard to insurance, the position appears to have eased since the last transaction and we have been successful in securing a rate of £5.5.0.% subject to the steamer sailing not later than Wednesday the 12th instant. We have not yet been able to furnish invoices covering the s.s. HARTBRIDGE shipment as we are still awaiting various charges in respect of loading and demurrage from the loading brokers, but these will follow at the earliest opportunity.
