The General Secretary gave a brief report of arrangements made by the Committee for the Evacuation of Basque Children to make provision for the Refugees, which would cost a considerable sum. He referred to the response to the appeal for the Basque children, and also to the state of the International Solidarity Fund. IT WAS AGREED to recommend that the General Council make a grant of £1,000 to the International Solidarity Fund, with a suggestion that £750 be ear-marked for the Basque Children.
