I. de Sol No.: 114 27th January, 1937. Mr. H. V. Tewson, LONDON. Dear Comrade Tewson, With reference to your letter of the 21st January, regarding clothing for Spain, it was too late when I received it again to get in touch with Comrade Schevenels, as he had left Perpignan by then; but, in spite of the misunderstanding on the 'phone, he will doubtless have obtained enough information while in Spain to allow of our judging of the utility of sending down rolls of cloth for the refugees themselves to make up. We will therefore write to you again as soon as we have Comrade Schevenels' report. Yours sincerely, G. Stolz, Assistant Secretary: 292/946/28/73
