Sir Walter Citrine, National Council of Labour, Transport House, Smith Square, S.W.1. Dear Sir Walter Citrine, Grant from the International Solidarity Fund. I have to thank you very much indeed for the cheque for £50 which I have received, and also for the promise of further grants to assist new Knitting Centres which may be set up. Arrangements are now in hand for the establishment of further centres and I shall inform you of their progress. Meantime in addition to your grant our own Committee has about 250 to be spent on wool. At the meeting of our Committee on Thursday, 14th January, great appreciation was expressed of the decision of the International Solidarity Fund to provide a grant for the purchase of woollen garments before Christmas, I shall send you a copy of our minutes when they are ready as this gives further particulars about the number of garments, etc. Yours sincerely, Mary E. Sutherland. Secretary. Enclosure. 292/946/28/91
