The "Milk for Spain" Fund and the International Solidarity Fund make all their purchases at wholesale prices through the Co-operative Wholesale Society, Ltd. CHRISTMAS PARCELS Many friends of Democratic Spain send parcels to Spain, and go to any amount of trouble over the packing, Customs, and other formalities, and they do not even have a guarantee that the parcel will arrive Other friends would like to send parcels to Spain. They are discouraged, however, by the trouble and inconvenience, and they may not know to whom to send them. A simple solution has now been found A Standard Parcels Service to Spain has now been devised. Friends abroad can buy parcels for Spain at a cost of 6s., 12s., 20s. or 24s. The contents of the parcels are shown overleaf. Friends send their subscriptions addressed: "Parcels for Spain," Transport House, Smith Square, London, S.W.1 giving the name and address of the friend in Spain. The money will be sent through the Spanish Embassy to the National Committee for Aid to Spain, who will make up the parcels in Barcelona from goods purchased abroad at wholesale prices. If you do not know the name and address of a friend in Spain, we have the names and addresses of many such friends and will choose one for you.
