Dear Mr. Tewson, Assistance for Spain With reference to our telephone conversations of 31st March and your letter of the same date, I now enclose cheque for £1000 being the remittance of £750 which you have already sent direct to Mr. Schevenels and a contribution £250 for the Spanish sailors. I shall be glad if you will let me have your receipt in due course. I note that you will communicate with me as early as possible regarding the disposal of £2000 which we have available for Spanish Relief on the French frontier.
