Description
Summary:041-0154-001 WMC/WJB/AC/14 International 15th September, 1936. Mr. G.W. Finnis, Maidstone Trades Council, 68, Peel Street, MAIDSTONE. Dear Mr. Finnis, SPAIN. We are in receipt of your letter of 10th September. The Fund to which we are asking Trade Unions and Trades Councils to subscribe will be used in various forms for the relief of the Trade Union and Socialist sufferers from the revolution. One form of relief is to send out a medical ambulance, and one of these has gone from this country. Others have gone from other countries. You may have seen from the papers that we gave £1,000 towards helping the first ambulance unit to be equipped. Yours faithfully, General Secretary. 292/946/41/154
