TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS "WHOLESALE, MANCHESTER" TELEPHONE: BLACKFRIARS 1212. PLEASE ADDRESS YOUR REPLY: CO-OPERATIVE WHOLESALE SOCIETY LIMITED, SECRETARY'S OFFICES, 1, BALLOON STREET, MANCHESTER, 4. Our Ref. JWP/JW/MH. Your Ref. WMC/EP/EK/21. 17th September 1936. Dear Sir Walter, Help for the Workers of Spain Fund. I have received your letter of the 16th instant and upon knowing you had not received advice from our Bank that the sum of 200 guineas had been credited to the account M.T.2 in connection with the above Fund, I immediately took the matter up with our Bank Manager here in Manchester. He informs me that although the account had been credited, an advice had not been sent out. This advice will be sent tonight to you and I have no doubt you will have no further trouble in this connection. Yours faithfully, J.W. Prestwich, Assistant Secretary. Sir Walter Citrine, National Council of Labour, Transport House, Smith Square, LONDON, S.W.1.
